About the movie:
This animated film is based on the novel The Borrowers by Mary Norton. It tells the story of a family of little people around four inches tall. They live hidden under the floorboards in a home and sneak out occasionally to "borrow" items. The story follows Arrietty, a fourteen year old girl and "little person". Arrietty is played by Bridgit Mendler from Good Luck Charlie. Arrietty gets discovered by a 12-year old boy named Shawn. This puts the family in danger and challenges both Arrietty and Shawn to have courage and fight for what they know is right.
