About the movie:
This movie tells the story of Reggie the turkey played by Owen Wilson. Reggie is on the meal for Thanksgiving dinner at the White House when he gets pardoned by the President and sent to Camp David to live a life of luxury. However, Reggie is soon recruited by Jake, the leader of teh Turkey Liberation Front and voiced by Woody Harrelson. Jake and Reggie time travel back to the first Thanksgiving where they will attempt to get turkeys off the menu for all time.
Free Birds is directed by James Hayward who also directed Horton Hears a Who! and worked as an animator on Pixar films such as Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Monsters, Inc. The original title for the film was Turkeys.
