About the movie:
This movie is a sequel to the 2009 film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Unlike the first movie, this film is not based on a book but on the screenplay written by John Francis Daley (Freaks and Geeks, Bones), Jonathan Goldstein, and Erica Rivinoja.
The movie begins where the first movie left off. Flint and his friends have left the island and Flint has taken a job as an inventor with the Live Corp Company. Soon Flint and his friends head back to Swallow Falls. They discover that Flint's machine is creating food animals, "foodimals", and must be stopped. Here the adventure begins.
The lead voice is played by Bill Hader from Saturday Night Live. Other voices include Anna Faris (Yogi Bear, Lost in Translation), Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser, M.D., Howe I Met Your Mother), and Benjamin Bratt (Law & Order).
