Nintendo Wii and Wii Sports wasn't released with the same fanfare as the Play Station 3, but has gained a large following among game players everywhere. Here is a description:
The Wii (pronounced We) is the latest game console from Nintendo. The Wii is somewhat unique in that its game controller, or Wii Remote, allows for more physical action when controlling the game. For example, when playing the tennis game, you actually swing the Wii Remote like a tennis racquet. Some games are even been used for exercise.
Each player can create their very own Mii (pronounced Me) in the game. A Mii is a customized character that the player can use for the different games. You can name the Mii and change the height, hair, face, and more.
Wii Sports
The Wii console usually comes with a game called Wii Sports. The Wii sports game comes with Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Boxing, and Bowling. Each of these games uses the Wii Remote in its own unique way, whether tossing the bowling ball, swinging a driver in golf, or throwing a pitch in baseball, the action is often very much like playing the actual sport.
